BRIAN  W.  CUPP

For three decades, Brian W. Cupp has been recognized as Tulsa's most elite and in demand instructional practitioner.  Recognized by Pro-Mark in 1992, being among the 100 top instructors in the United States, Brian's clientele comprise many of the regions most successful recording and touring artists which include Nic Ritter (War Bringer) James McAllister (Sufjean Stevens) Josh Center (Phil Marshall) Zac & Taylor Hanson (Hanson) Mike DePetrillo (Dryvr / Fdr. Brian is the owner of BWC Drumworks & Methode L'audace LLC.   In addition he is the North American Director of brand operations and artist relations for European drumstick manufacturer Agner Swiss.  He holds endorsements with Tama/Hoshino, Paiste CSG, Agner Switzerland and ProLogix with instructional areas of specialization in linear form (open solo) movement, S.A. Moeller rudimental mechanics, gong/sound meditation & proprietary disciplines for chamber style handdrum.

Comprehensive studies for the beginner through advanced player with special emphasis for band students.  Foundational PAS rudimental applications

Advanced PAS rudimental comprehension, S.A. Moeller integrated reduction/compression exercises, metronomic counterpoint, grip/mode applications.  Selected authors: Cirone, Delecluse.
Comprehensive entry through advanced proprietary instruction for Middle Eastern doumbek, darbuka and African djembe & Udu.  Orthodox, traditional instruction is available for Irish Bodhran.
A unique exploration of metallic, textural sound applications which are ideally utilized subjective meditational purposes.  The system employs an exclusive range of Paiste sounds, including roto-sound discs, cupchimes, bronze soundplates, accent cymbals, accent gongs, supended sound discs and bronze finger cymbals, bronze bells and chakra, symphonic and sound creation gongs.
